This role The Implementation Consultant plays a key role in our Customer Experience Delivery teams, responsible for the end-to-end implementation of the Employment Hero Payroll platform. Acting as the primary point of contact, you will work closely with customers to understand their Payroll requirements, configure the platform accordingly, and ensure alignment with relevant employment legislation and best practices. While your core focus will be on Payroll implementations, you may be expected to support HR projects as needed. Your key focus areas will be:
- Day-to-day you'll be an influencer, presenter and trainer for all things Payroll; whilst also being comfortable and familiar with the HR product.
- Your number one focus is to ensure that Employment Hero customers, partners and internal stakeholders have the knowledge and skills they need, to proficiently operate and administer our payroll software; by ensuring they have excellent learning experiences, and as a result - they're highly satisfied with Employment Hero products.
- Managing change and stakeholder engagement, and communicate clearly with our customers who are not always the experts in Payroll/HR or legislative requirements.
This will include the following:
- End-to-End Implementation: Manage the implementation of Payroll (and HR as needed) platforms for clients, ensuring all solutions meet their specific needs.
- Consultancy and Training: Serve as the main point of contact, delivering comprehensive training and best practice guidance for the Payroll platform.
- System Configuration: Work with clients to gather requirements and configure their Payroll systems, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with subject matter experts, project coordinators, and technical teams to troubleshoot issues and ensure timely delivery.
- Root Cause Analysis: Perform detailed analysis and provide recommendations to optimise the platform’s functionality to meet client expectations.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships, focusing on high customer satisfaction and engagement.
- Process Improvement: Continuously review and enhance our implementation processes to improve efficiency and client outcomes.
Who you are To thrive at Employment Hero, you’ll need to embody The EH Way - operating with focus, agility, and an obsession with impact. For this role, you’ll also bring:
- Knowledge of Australian Payroll legislation
- 2+ years of combined experience in HR or Payroll implementation (highly desirable but not essential)
- Exposure to other HR or payroll software and system configurations.
- Ability to manage multiple clients simultaneously, meeting critical deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence and educate clients.
- Experience delivering customer training and providing technical support is highly regarded.
- Strong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to handle competing priorities.
