This role involves consultative input into the design of a small AAC card set intended for family and homeschooling contexts. The focus is on accessibility, respectful language, and neurodiversity-affirming practice. This is not a clinical role and does not involve assessment, therapy, or service delivery.
Scope of work (consultative)
• Advising on core and fringe vocabulary selection
• Providing guidance on structure, layout, and usability
• Supporting ethical, strengths-based communication approaches
• Reviewing content for accessibility and family-friendly use
This is a collaborative advisory role, not full AAC system development.
Contract details
• Contract type: Short-term / project-based
• Budget: Fixed honorarium of approximately $500
• Time commitment: Limited and negotiable, aligned with scope
• Location: Remote / Australia-based preferred
About you
