The Role

We are looking for an experienced PR & Communications Account Director to join our team. This is a senior role for a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit, eager to play a key role in shaping both client success and the growth of our agency.

You will lead client accounts, manage and mentor teams, and work closely with senior leadership to deliver impactful campaigns that position our clients as thought leaders in their industries. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building strong relationships with clients and media, and has a proven ability to turn complex technologies into compelling stories.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and grow client accounts in the B2B technology and innovation sectors.
• Develop and execute integrated PR and communications strategies that drive thought leadership and business impact.
• Build strong relationships with top-tier UK business and technology publications to secure high-quality media coverage.
• Craft engaging narratives from complex technical subjects, turning them into clear, impactful stories.
• Oversee content strategy across B2B social media channels (LinkedIn, Twitter/X, YouTube, etc.) to amplify visibility and engagement.
• Provide strategic counsel to clients on positioning, messaging, and reputation management.
• Drive account growth, identify new opportunities, and contribute to the overall growth of EDERA Lab.
• Mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence and entrepreneurial drive.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in PR, communications, or marketing, ideally within an agency setting.
• Proven track record in B2B marketing and communications, preferably in tech or innovation-driven industries.
• Strong network of media contacts across UK business and technology publications.
• Experience managing B2B social media campaigns and content strategies.
• Exceptional storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify and communicate complex technologies.
• Demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit: proactive, self-starting, and motivated to contribute to organizational growth.
• Excellent leadership and client management skills; ability to build trust and deliver results.
• Remote-first role: candidate must be UK-based and able to conveniently commute to London for client, press, and team meetings.
