As an ICT Customer Support Officer, you’ll be the first point of contact for our restaurant partners and internal teams needing technical support.
Your goal: ensure smooth operation of our platform, troubleshoot issues, support hardware and software setup, and keep partners confident in using EatClub’s technology.
Sitting within our Operations & Technical Support team, you’ll play a critical role in maintaining platform stability and partner satisfaction across Australia.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Provide first-line technical support to restaurant partners and internal stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot issues related to tablets, logins, connectivity, app errors, device performance and browser functionality.
- Guide venues through setup: hardware configuration, account access, test redemptions, portal navigation.
- Log, triage, and escalate system bugs or platform issues to Product/Engineering.
- Maintain detailed documentation of technical queries, resolutions, and patterns.
- Collaborate with Sales and Account Management to support smooth venue activation and ongoing performance.
- Support continuous improvement by identifying recurring issues and recommending solutions.
About You
- Clear, patient communicator—especially over phone and chat.
- Strong problem-solver who can work through issues methodically.
- Tech-savvy with the ability to explain software to non-technical users.
- Calm under pressure and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth startup.
- Highly organised with strong documentation habits.
What You Bring
- 1–2 years’ experience in ICT support, helpdesk, customer support, or tech operations.
- Understanding of basic troubleshooting: connectivity, device setup, cache/cookies, login authentication, browsers.
- Experience supporting small businesses or hospitality operators is a plus.
- Familiarity with CRM or ticketing systems (HubSpot, Jira, Zendesk, Slack, Google Workspace).
- Bonus: exposure to POS systems, mobile device management, or app-based platforms.
