Title: Customer Service Representative (Healthcare or Medical)Location: RemoteDuration: 6-month contract to hirePay range: $18-$19Key Responsibilities

Provide customer service support for overflow requests from internal teams.

Interact with patients, customers, and healthcare partners in high-pressure situations while maintaining professionalism and strong judgment.

Work within CRM and tracking systems to document interactions, typically within 7–8 minutes per case.

Handle inbound calls, resolve issues, and demonstrate strong soft skills and phone etiquette.

Assist with insurance-related tasks, including authorizations, CPT-related inquiries, and navigating basic medical terminology.

Discuss payments when required; must be comfortable asking for and processing money.

Maintain productivity during peak hours (11 AM–2 PM) and contribute to a remote pre-registration team as needed.

Follow coaching and feedback to improve accuracy, efficiency, and service quality.

Requirements

Strong customer service and accurate data entry skills with high attention to detail.

Prior customer service or industry experience preferred, but not required. ER/Hospital

Proficiency in MS Office, email platforms, web-based applications, and general computer use.

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Reliable, dependable work ethic and willingness to take direction and implement feedback.

Experience engaging with people in fast-paced, high-pressure environments (via phone)

Experience in healthcare, pharmacy, insurance verification, ER/ED settings, patient interaction, or medical office environments is a plus.

Comfortable handling sensitive patient information, asking for payments, and documenting interactions clearly and quickly.
