SAP Finance Analyst

We are looking for a SAP Finance Analyst to join us remotely (currently living in Portugal).Responsibilities:

• Analyze and document financial processes across accounting, controlling, and reporting functions to identify opportunities for optimization aligned with SAP FI/CO capabilities.
• Configure and support SAP FI/CO modules to enable accurate and efficient handling of general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, asset accounting, cost center accounting, and internal orders.
• Collaborate with stakeholders in finance, operations, and IT to gather business requirements and design effective financial solutions within SAP.
• Conduct system testing (unit, integration, UAT) and prepare training materials and user documentation to ensure successful adoption of financial processes.
• Investigate and resolve SAP FI/CO functional and technical issues, ensuring timely resolution with minimal disruption to financial operations.
• Participate in SAP-related projects, including new implementations, system upgrades, and rollouts, with a focus on finance and controlling integration.
• Support integration between FI/CO and other SAP modules such as MM, SD, and PP to ensure seamless financial transactions and reporting.
• Manage financial master data including GL accounts, cost centers, profit centers, and asset master records.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience with SAP FI/CO in ECC or S/4HANA environments.
• Strong understanding of core financial processes including general ledger, AP/AR, asset management, and financial close procedures.
• Experience with controlling processes such as cost center accounting, internal orders, and profitability analysis.
• Familiarity with integration points between FI/CO and other modules like MM (procurement), SD (billing), and PP (costing).
• Experience writing functional specifications for custom financial reports, interfaces, and enhancements.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance and Fiori applications is a strong advantage.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance, tax requirements, and audit support in a corporate or global environment is a plus.
• Fluency in English is required.
