We're looking for a detail-oriented, proactive Deal Desk professional to help us scale and refine our deal desk and sales processes. Location: This role will be based in our Belgrade, Serbia, office, or remotely in Budapest, Hungary. What You'll Do:
- Support Sales, Customer Success, and Resellers in structuring strategic, non-standard deals and navigating quote-to-cash workflows
- Own the deal review process to ensure proposals align with pricing policies, commercial terms, and revenue recognition guidelines
- Collaborate with Sales Director, Sales Ops Manager, Sales Ops Director, and CEO to streamline contract approvals, flag risks, and ensure compliance with internal policies (e.g., discounting, payment terms, MSA redlines)
- Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) on quoting tools, deal configurations, and policy escalations
- Maintain and improve Hubspot deal hygiene, Hubspot and Fastspring quote templates, and sales documentation
- Track deal metrics such as approval SLAs, quote accuracy, deal velocity, and margin impact
- Proactively identify process bottlenecks and recommend improvements to drive operational efficiency and reduce cycle time
- Partner cross-functionally to document best practices and ensure consistent knowledge sharing across GTM teams
- Maintain a 24-hour SLA on deal-related support requests
What You Bring:
- C1+ English level
- 2–3 years of experience in Deal Desk, Sales Operations, or Revenue Operations at a B2B tech startup company
- Proficiency with Hubspot CRM; experience with CPQ, HubSpot quotes, or equivalent quoting tools
- Strong business acumen with an understanding of SaaS pricing models, contract structures, and financial levers
- Detail-oriented and process-minded with a bias for action and ownership
- Excellent communicator with the ability to translate deal mechanics to both GTM and back-office teams
- Experience supporting multiple GTM motions (Sales, Customer Success, and/or Resellers)
- Familiarity with contract redlining and collaborating with Legal on commercial risks
- A problem solver who enjoys untangling deal complexities and building scalable processes
Bonus Skills:
- Understanding of ASC 606 revenue recognition and its implications on deal structure
- Background supporting SOX-compliant deal workflows
- Familiarity with reseller, OEM, or channel partner deal structuring
- Experience with HubSpot or other GTM analytics and forecasting tools
- Prior exposure to international deal compliance
- Proficiency with Google Sheets
- Proficiency with HubSpot Academy or HubSpot Certifications
