We are seeking an experienced Applications Support Specialist to join a leading provider in the residential solar and home electrification industry. This role is essential for delivering technical expertise and ensuring seamless support for enterprise applications and contact center platforms. You will work in a dynamic environment where innovation and sustainability drive every decision, helping customers access clean energy solutions while supporting internal teams with best-in-class technology.
Job Description
As an Applications Support Specialist, you will provide advanced troubleshooting and technical support for applications, networks, and hardware. You will manage escalations, collaborate with development teams, and maintain documentation and training resources for end users. This position requires proactive monitoring of system alerts, strong communication skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally to resolve complex issues. You will play a key role in optimizing contact center technologies and supporting the company’s mission to transform energy use for homes nationwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver expert application support and resolve complex technical issues.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to address critical software bugs and system challenges.
- Maintain documentation and training materials for common issues and solutions.
- Manage escalation processes and triage critical IT incidents.
- Monitor system alerts and utilize tools to ensure application stability.
- Build strong relationships with engineering and customer support teams.
- Participate in rotating on-call shifts.
QualificationsRequired:
- 3+ years of application support experience in a corporate environment.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills for applications, networks, and hardware.
- Experience with contact center platforms such as AWS Connect, Spoke Phone, Nice CXOne, Five9, or Dialpad.
- Knowledge of IVR systems, outbound dialing, and predictive dialer configuration.
- Proficiency with Windows and Mac OS; basic Linux/Unix knowledge.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Word; familiarity with Google Apps and Okta.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for phone and email support.
- Strong organizational, planning, and reporting abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotation.
