The Role:
Coravin Australia is hiring an Account Executive within the Australia Sales team to support Coravin’s business within the B2B channel (On Premise and Off Premise). This role will report to the National Sales Manager – Australia and will support the Australia sales team, as well as develop business within Queensland. If you are passionate about the wine and hospitality industry, generating sales, finding new business opportunities and working in a fast-paced environment, this position is for you.
As an Account Executive you will be responsible for assisting with administrative tasks, such as order input, qualifying leads, generating new/repeat restaurant and distributor business, managing a book of existing accounts, and customer service as necessary.
Responsibilities:
- General admin support to Australia B2B sales team e.g. qualifying sales leads, onboarding new customers, managing general enquiries, resolving customer complaints, CRM maintenance support.
- Support delivery of revenue and profitability targets.
- Manage Queensland accounts through full sales cycle, from lead generation to on-going management of existing accounts.
- Develop territory sales plans to achieve goals and objectives, taking into consideration unique customer segments.
- Provide input to weekly sales tracking and monthly forecasting as required
- Conduct virtual and in-person product trainings to ensure proper product usage at selected accounts.
- Support maintenance of a healthy A/R balance, assisting the A/R team as necessary to ensure on time collection.
- Utilize CRM and Power BI to track all pertinent information related to the opportunity and to effectively manage customer base.
- Other job-related tasks as assigned.
Skills & Characteristics:
- Demonstrate high ethical standards, with a strong moral compass to do the right thing and demonstrate the Coravin values.
- A passion for wine and the wine and/or restaurant business.
- Good knowledge of the Queensland Restaurant business, with a solid network of decision makers and industry influencers.
- Entrepreneurial at heart, with innovative thinking and the ability work in a fast-paced environment and deal with ambiguity.
- Show appreciation and respect for the different ideas, perspectives, qualities, skills, experiences, and diversity our people bring – be that our team, partners and customers.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate yourself clearly, dynamically, and effectively both in person/virtually in writing and verbally.
- Detail orientated with strong administrative, organizational, and prioritization skills; demonstrates the ability to multitask, work efficiently and manage time effectively.
- Ability to use data e.g. sales numbers, customer trends etc.to influence others and present a convincing sales case
Experience & Requirements:
- Batchelor’s degree in business management, sales or marketing or other related field
- A minimum of 2 years of sales experience, including on-premise experience
- An understanding of wine and restaurants is required.
- Excellent Customer Service
- Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Collaboration & Communication Tools – Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Slack and SharePoint for internal communication and document management
- Fluent in English
- Right to Work in Country
