Role Description – Technical Delivery Manager
We are seeking a Technical Delivery Manager with 3–5 years’ consulting experience to lead the delivery of Amazon Connect and AWS solutions. This is a full-time role, open to remote candidates within Australia.
As a Technical Delivery Manager, you will:
- Take ownership of delivering Amazon Connect and AWS customer experience projects end-to-end, ensuring quality, timelines and client success.
- Lead and coordinate technical delivery teams (architects, engineers, consultants), ensuring clarity, accountability and high performance.
- Translate client requirements into structured delivery plans.
- Engage directly with senior client stakeholders, providing visibility and confidence in delivery outcomes.
- Act as the "bridge" between business and technology, ensuring technical solutions are aligned with measurable business outcomes.
- Contribute to Contacx’s delivery playbooks and frameworks, helping us scale as a best-in-class AWS partner.
- Support business development by collaborating with prospective clients to design tailored solutions, guiding them from initial engagement through to onboarding.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years’ experience in technology consulting, ideally with a Big 4 or Tier 1 consulting firm (Deloitte, Accenture, EY, PwC, Capgemini etc.).
- Strong background in technology delivery with exposure to customer experience or contact centre platforms (Amazon Connect, Genesys, Cisco, Avaya, or similar).
- Proven ability to manage stakeholders at multiple levels, including executives.
- Experience running delivery teams and coordinating multiple projects and workstreams.
- Strong understanding of project/program management disciplines.
- Familiarity with AWS services (Amazon Connect, Lambda, Lex, DynamoDB, S3 etc.) or willingness to rapidly upskill.
- Excellent communication skills - able to explain technical concepts in plain business terms.
- Tertiary qualifications in IT, Business, or related fields.
- AWS certifications (or progress towards them) are highly regarded.
