Clover Talent are exclusively partnered with a growing UK IT reseller that does things a little differently. Alongside new hardware from the major vendors, they run 1:1 device programmes for schools and colleges, manage vendor trade-in schemes and refurbish devices in-house.
That means you're not just shifting boxes, you'll have more than one way into every conversation, whether it's a school wanting a device in every student's hands, a business needing a refresh, or an organisation looking to turn old kit into budget.
They're now scaling the IT sales division and want Account Managers who can win new business in education,SME or both. As the business grows, so will the product range, including managed services.
What you'll be doing:
- Winning new business across education (schools, colleges and MATs) and/or the SME sector
- Selling across the full offering: new hardware, 1:1 device programmes, trade-in and IT asset disposal (ITAD), and refurbished devices
- Helping schools and trusts fund their technology through vendor trade-in schemes and promotions
- Building and managing your own pipeline, from first conversation through to close
- Growing the accounts you win and spotting further opportunities as the product range expands
Who we're looking for:
- A background in IT reseller sales is essential, whether that's education, SME, ITAD or a mix
- A proven track record of winning new business in education or the SME sector
- Confident selling to decision makers, from school business managers and IT leads to business owners
- Organised and self-driven, comfortable working remotely and running your own diary
- Knowledge of education buying or vendor programmes (HP, Lenovo, Microsoft and similar) is a bonus
- Ambition to step up as the business and team grow
What's in it for you:
- £35,000 - £50,000 basic salary, depending on experience, plus commission
- More than one solution to sell, so more ways to open doors and win business
- A clear route forward: SME specialists can step into an SME Sales Manager role, and strong Account Managers have the chance to build and lead their own team
- The chance to join a growing business early, as it expands into areas like managed services
