Company Description

BRDG is a US tax consulting firm dedicated to helping Australian, New Zealand, European, and UK startups, scaleups, and venture-backed companies expand into the U.S. market. Our strategic and founder-first approach ensures customised solutions for high-growth businesses. Guided by a U.S. CPA with over 14 years of experience, we specialise in bridging the gap between AU, NZ, UK, and EU tax strategies and U.S. tax requirements. We provide expert guidance to support successful U.S. market entry and compliance for international businesses.

Role Description

We are seeking a full-time Tax Director to join our fully remote team. The Tax Director will lead BRDG's tax practice - overseeing staffing, resource management, and client delivery while maintaining the highest standards of technical excellence. Technical responsibilities include advising on U.S. tax structuring, implementing transfer pricing strategies, ensuring corporation tax and sales tax compliance, conducting multi-state tax nexus studies, and providing expert guidance on U.S. tax laws. The role also involves managing client relationships and collaborating closely with the founders and wider team to deliver top-quality tax consulting services.

Qualifications

  • Expert knowledge and experience in U.S. tax compliance and cross-border U.S. tax advisory
  • Extensive experience advising startups and scaleups on U.S. market entry
  • Strong foundation in accounting and financial reporting
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple client accounts
  • CPA qualification or equivalent professional certification
  • Proficiency in navigating cross-border repatriation strategies, complex tax scenarios, and transfer pricing guidelines
  • Location: Europe, South Africa, India, or Australia — candidates must already be work-authorised in their location (visa sponsorship is not available)
