About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer specializing in IP networks to join our team remotely. This role is integral to maintaining and enhancing the resilience, scalability, and efficiency of our IP core network infrastructure. As a senior technical lead, you will be responsible for managing escalated issues, overseeing complex troubleshooting, and leading critical projects such as network migrations and upgrades. Your expertise will help drive automation initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency. You will act as a key technical authority, representing the company in discussions with vendors and external partners, ensuring best practices are followed, and technical standards are maintained. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of CCNP or JNCIP certification, with advanced certifications such as CCIE or JNCIE highly desirable. Candidates should have extensive hands-on experience in a service provider environment, particularly with IP routing and switching protocols including MPLS, BGP, OSPF, and general IP troubleshooting. A strong background in designing and reviewing high-level and low-level network designs is essential, although this role does not require architecture responsibilities. Excellent communication skills, leadership ability, and experience in vendor management are also important. Familiarity with multiple vendor environments, including Cisco, Juniper, Nokia, and Adtran, is preferred. Responsibilities

• Manage and resolve escalated network issues on the IP core network, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
• Lead and support network migration projects, upgrades, and implementation of new technologies to enhance network capabilities.
• Identify opportunities for automation and implement solutions to improve network efficiency and operational processes.
• Contribute to the development of high-level and low-level network designs, ensuring they meet business and technical requirements.
• Conduct ongoing testing, validation, and capacity planning to ensure network resilience and scalability.
• Collaborate with vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Nokia, and Adtran to resolve technical issues and optimize hardware and software solutions.
• Act as a technical mentor and leader within the team, providing guidance and support to junior engineers.
• Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes related to network infrastructure and technology adoption.
• Represent the company in external vendor discussions, technical negotiations, and industry forums.
