Role Description

This is a contract and remote role for an Account Manager at Aviatrix Communications. The Account Manager will manage client relationships, oversee the execution of projects, and ensure high-quality deliverables are provided on time. Responsibilities include coordinating with internal teams, maintaining communication with clients, monitoring progress and performance, and supporting marketing strategies tailored to aviation clients. The role also involves driving customer satisfaction by addressing client needs and resolving any issues promptly.

The Account Manager will provide administrative, project coordination, and production support across a range of client accounts and agency initiatives. This position works closely with the Principal and Director of Operations to ensure projects run smoothly, deliverables are accurate and timely, and internal processes stay organized and efficient.

The Account Manager’s projects will include public relations, marketing and advertising, website development, event coordination, and other communications efforts. A strong understanding of communications strategies is essential to success.

Key Responsibilities

Project and Account Support

  • Account Management for aviation industry clients across multiple US time zones.
  • Provide account management coverage on web development projects, marketing and outreach programs.
  • Manage client-facing status reports, rounds of edits, proofing, and finalization for client deliverables such as campaigns, websites, annual reports and presentation materials.
  • Liaison between the agency and the client.
  • Assist with new business RFP responses to ensure compliance with submission guidelines, complete required forms, and proof documents for accuracy and professionalism.

·      Account Management support while Director of Operations or Agency Owner are out of office.

Qualifications

  • 5 to 8 years of experience in project coordination, or account management roles (agency or communications environment preferred).
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace; experience with Adobe Acrobat, SharePoint, and project management tools a plus.
  • Ability to multitask across projects with shifting priorities and deadlines.
  • Professional, proactive, and collaborative work style.
  • Ability and equipment to work remotely.
  • Strong project management and client relationship skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficient in marketing, public relations, and communication strategies specific to aviation industries
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Proficiency in tools for graphic design, website development, and presentation preparation is a plus
  • Ability to adapt to remote work environments with excellent problem-solving capabilities
  • Familiarity with aviation industry operations is beneficial
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • Contractor: part to full time
  • Must be US based
