We guide and support hundreds of startups leveraging AWS smarter throughout their growth journey. We save our customers significant time to market and optimize their cloud performance and cost-effectiveness. Automat-it operates in more than seven countries across EMEA. We seek a dynamic Business Development Representative to join our team, focusing on identifying and generating leads from startups in the cloud ecosystem. 📍 Work location - Remote from Paris Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify, research, and qualify potential startup leads within the cloud ecosystem using tools such as LinkedIn, Salesforce, and industry-specific databases
  • Contact prospects through email, phone calls, and social media to generate interest in Automat-it’s solutions
  • Maintain a robust and organized sales pipeline in Salesforce, tracking all interactions and ensuring follow-ups
  • Own the initial stages of the sales cycle until handover to Account Manager who will lead the sales deal until closing
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align strategies and ensure seamless handoff of qualified leads
  • Stay updated on cloud ecosystem trends, industry developments, and startup activity to refine outreach strategies
  • Attend local AWS and customer events to network, generate leads, and represent Automat-it in the cloud ecosystem community
  • Commitment to regular business travel locally and abroad

Requirements

  • 1+ years in a similar BDR/SDR or sales role, preferably in the B2B tech or cloud ecosystem
  • Proven experience navigating prospective accounts from and into a senior executive level to identify new customer opportunities.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and influence C-level executives
  • Excellent organizational and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed lead generation targets in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French
  • Enthusiastic about learning and adapting to new tools, trends, and markets
  • Working experience with Salesforce or Hubspot - an advantage
  • Experience working in startups and knowledge of the local startup ecosystem - an advantage
  • Familiarity with cloud services - an advantage
