JOB DESCRIPTION:

Allocated to our Packaging Technologies - business we are looking for a highly motivated and proactive team member in the function of

Service Technician (m/w/d)

In this role you will be responsible for driving profitable growth for our business by supporting the sales team in UK by being the Service Technician towards our customers.

Main responsibilities:

  • Checking pumps and equipment at customers to ensure our application are running smooth
  • Measure agreed parameters to optimize dosing rate
  • Shade matchings as agreed
  • Check available inventories avoid risking stock out
  • Get customers orders organized in time
  • Keep contact with dedicated customer contacts
  • Maintain existing sales and find new business opportunities
  • Align actions with Sales Manager to have a full picture available and to prepare stock allocation

This is a permanent and full-time position to be based in UK, Home Office based. The role includes travelling within UK.

Your profile:

We are looking for You who are/have.

  • Technical education within process or chemical engineering
  • Experience from Sales (within the Paper industry would be preferred)
  • Ability to communicate and write well in English
  • Enjoys teamwork and collaboration.
  • Strong ability to focus on details
  • User knowledge in Microsoft Office
  • Driving license (mandatory for the role)

Furthermore, you are a proactive team player with a strong eagerness to drive and develop the business. You are accountable for your own responsibility area and have the experience of working towards deadlines. You are also very customer oriented and have the willingness to travel and visit the customers in UK.
