Role Description This is a part time remote role for a Bookkeeper and Logistics Manager. The role includes managing day-to-day bookkeeping tasks such as accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, reconciliations, expense tracking, and assisting with month-end reporting.

The position also oversees logistics operations, including coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, managing freight bookings, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring timely deliveries to customers. The Bookkeeper and Logistics Manager will liaise with suppliers, logistics partners, and customers to resolve issues, optimise stock levels, and support procurement activities.

This role works closely with the broader team to provide accurate data for decision-making, maintain compliance with relevant regulations, and uphold a high standard of customer service.

Finally, the role involves proactivity in using AI where necessary as a productivity or innovation tool as well as running / organising the life of the office.

Qualifications

• Strong logistics and supply chain skills, including Logistics Management and Supply Chain Management, with the ability to coordinate shipments and optimize transport and delivery timelines.
• Experience in operations and stock control, including Inventory Management and Procurement, ensuring accurate stock levels and timely ordering of products.
• Proven Customer Service skills, with the ability to respond promptly to inquiries, resolve delivery or billing issues, and maintain positive relationships with clients and partners.
• Demonstrated bookkeeping experience, including accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, invoicing, and familiarity with accounting software.
• Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and general office software; experience in a distribution, FMCG, or beverage industry environment is highly regarded.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a small, close-knit team.
• Relevant qualification in accounting, business, logistics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
