Patrick Murray and 3Search are working with a rapidly growing global Ad-tech business who are looking for a Director of Customer Success to lead their Global Customer Strategy and Customer Success Teams.

  • Salary: $160-180k
  • Location: USA or Canada
  • Working Model: Remote - some expected travel to clients and events!

Our client is a rapidly scaling Retail Media AdTech organisation experiencing significant growth across its AI-powered advertising platform. Combining advanced analytics, automation technology and expert services, they enable advertisers to build tailored media strategies that increase sales, improve efficiency and deliver consistent performance. As they expand globally, they continue to invest heavily in innovation, cultivating a culture built around curiosity, learning, humility and exceptional client service. This role has been created to support the next phase of their global expansion and enhance the strategic value offered to enterprise customers.

The Director of Customer Success will take ownership of defining and delivering a world-class client success function, ensuring customers achieve maximum value from the platform. The role requires a strategic leader with deep knowledge of retail media and Amazon advertising, capable of guiding a global team while shaping long-term customer engagement. The Director of Customer Success will act as the voice of the customer, influence cross-functional initiatives and build scalable frameworks that support retention and growth. The Director of Customer Success will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence and setting the tone for best-in-class client partnerships. The Director of Customer Success will be instrumental in accelerating the organisation’s footprint across key markets.

The Director of Customer Success will

  • Define and execute a comprehensive client success strategy to drive retention, growth and satisfaction.
  • Build, mentor and scale a global client success organisation across North America and EMEA.
  • Engage senior stakeholders at major brands and agencies as an executive-level partner.
  • Collaborate with Product, Sales and Marketing to influence the roadmap and key revenue initiatives.
  • Lead scalable onboarding, adoption and success programmes that maximise platform value.

The role requires

  • A background in client success, consulting or strategic account management within digital advertising or AdTech.
  • Strong understanding of Amazon Search/DSP and broader retail media platforms.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams within a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated success in driving client retention, revenue expansion and operational excellence.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex product capabilities into commercial value.
