Senior Amazon Account Manager
Job Description
Posted on: February 19, 2026
Fluenti Commerce | Remote | $75,000 - $100,000 + Performance Bonus
Fluenti is a boutique digital marketing agency managing eight figures in monthly retail media spend across Amazon, Walmart, and other platforms. We work with CPG and supplement brands that expect strategic thinking, not just campaign maintenance.
We're looking for an experienced Amazon account manager who's agency-tested, deeply fluent in Seller Central, and current on Amazon's latest tools and programs. This role is hands-on: you'll own strategy and execution across a focused book of accounts with real autonomy and direct client relationships.
What You'll Actually Do
- Own a focused book of 6-10 Amazon accounts end-to-end. Strategy, execution, optimization, client communication. No handoffs, no silos.
- Build and manage Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, and DSP campaigns from scratch. Not just tweaking bids on inherited structures.
- Run deep Search Term Report analysis, manage negative keyword strategies, and build campaign architectures that scale without bloating ACOS.
- Leverage newer Amazon programs and tools: AMC (Amazon Marketing Cloud), Brand Tailored Promotions, Customer Journey Analytics, Sponsored TV, Product Opportunity Explorer. If it launched in the last 12 months, you should already know about it.
- Manage full Seller Central operations: listing optimization, A+ Content, inventory health, case management, Brand Registry issues, account health monitoring.
- Conduct regular Business Reviews with clients. You'll present performance data, strategic recommendations, and competitive insights. Not read numbers off a dashboard.
- Coordinate across our omnichannel retail media team. Amazon doesn't exist in a vacuum and we don't treat it that way.
- Identify growth opportunities proactively. New keyword gaps, category trends, competitor moves, promotional strategies. You bring ideas to the table, not just reports.
Who You Are
- 3-5+ years of hands-on Amazon advertising experience, with at least 2 years agency-side managing multiple client accounts simultaneously.
- You've personally managed $500K+ in monthly Amazon ad spend across multiple accounts. You know what changes at scale versus what works on a $5K/month brand.
- Deep Seller Central fluency. You don't need someone to walk you through the Advertising Console, Brand Analytics, or Account Health Dashboard. You live there.
- Proven ability to manage a full-funnel Amazon advertising strategy: Sponsored Products for harvesting, Sponsored Brands for category defense, Sponsored Display for retargeting, DSP for upper-funnel.
- You understand the organic-paid flywheel. You know how ad spend impacts BSR, how keyword ranking velocity works, and why a 15% ACOS isn't always better than a 30% ACOS.
- Comfortable with Amazon's newer tools and programs. AMC queries, Brand Tailored Promotions audience segments, Customer Journey Analytics. Bonus if you've worked with Rufus optimization or Amazon Cosmo.
- Experience with enterprise Amazon tools like Pacvue, Perpetua, Helium 10, or Intentwise. You have opinions about which ones are actually useful.
- Strong communicator who can translate complex campaign data into clear client-facing insights. No jargon dumps, no hiding behind acronyms.
- You've worked at or alongside agencies like Pirawna, BellaVix, Trivium, Acadia, Canopy Management, Incrementum Digital, or similar. You know the agency pace and you thrive in it.
Nice to Haves
- Amazon Ads Certifications (Sponsored Ads, Campaign Optimization, AMC).
- Experience with supplement, health & wellness, or CPG brands on Amazon.
- Walmart Connect or other retail media platform experience.
- Former Amazonian (Vendor Manager, Brand Specialist, Ads Account Exec) who's transitioned agency-side.
Why Fluenti
- Focused client loads. You'll manage 6-10 accounts, not 20+. Enough room to actually think strategically.
- Real spend, real impact. We manage eight figures monthly. Your work moves real revenue for real brands.
- Autonomy with support. We hire experienced people and let them do their jobs. No micromanagement, no rigid SOPs that don't fit every account.
- Omnichannel perspective. Amazon is a critical channel but we think holistically across Amazon, Walmart, and emerging retail media. You'll build broader strategic muscles.
- Direct access to leadership. Small team, flat structure. Your ideas get heard and implemented fast.
- Fully remote. Work from anywhere. We care about outcomes, not hours logged in a chair.
Compensation & Benefits
- $75,000 - $100,000 base salary depending on experience.
- Performance bonus tied to client growth and retention.
- Fully remote position.
- Flexible PTO.
- Professional development budget (conferences, certifications, tools).
How to Apply
Skip the cover letter. Instead, tell us:
- The most complex Amazon advertising challenge you solved and what the result was.
- What monthly ad spend you've personally managed and across how many accounts.
- One Amazon feature or program launched in the last year that you think most agencies are sleeping on.
